I received a bunch of prizes from a contest Kris had run a little while ago. I’ve had a lot of fun experimenting with that darkness mask, it lets you do meditation no matter what the lighting conditions are. And with the meditation bible, there is no lack of different meditations to try. This was probably one of the better gifts I got for the holidays.
Thank you Kris!

Congrats on the prizes! I wish I had a darkness mask–I have a heck of a time sleeping if there’s any light at all. Makes for early mornings.
Thanks! It’s quite nice for meditation, it’s a bit bulky, so I’m not sure about regular sleep. I suppose it would probably work out alright though.
As for early mornings, I’ve been enjoying getting up earlier. I like getting things done when it’s quiet and serene. Most certainly a good meditation time as well.

Hi Hatter - I’m glad you’re enjoying the prizes! I really like the Meditation Bible because it seems to have something for everyone. It’s rare that a person can’t find at least one technique that works really well for them out of all the many techniques described in the book. Hi Lana - The Mindfold Mask is great for meditation but I don’t think it would work well as a sleep mask. It’s very lightweight due to the material it’s made of, but it’s bulky in size because it was designed to not lay flat against your eyes. The bulk of it might make it awkward if you wanted to sleep on your side. There are some other sleep masks that lay flat against your face and eyes that probably would be better for sleep purposes. ~ Kris
